The armed robbery happened at the Turkey Hill, located at 346 West Broadway in Red Lion Borough, York County at 10:28 p.m., as detailed in the PA State Police release.
Investigators, who arrived shortly after the suspect fled, learned from the employees that the man "approached both cashiers while brandishing a firearm and demanding cash," as stated in the release. "After [he was] given a total of $214 from both drawers, the male fled the scene north towards 1st Ave."
During the initial investigation, police determined a man in their late teens or early 20s approached both cashiers with a firearm and demanded cash. Police say a total of $214 was stolen.
State police are asking anyone who lives in the area to check their video surveillance systems for any signs of the described male.
The suspect is described as a 5’10 light-skinned Black or Hispanic male. He was last seen wearing black pants, a gray sweatshirt, and a medical mask.
